She does n’t give a name to this Lady , but it seems like a pretty well-defined nod to the character of Berelain sur Paendrag Paeron , a key ally of Rand ’s from the record . First of the city Mayene , she ’s an aristocrat who is used to fix her own way , and she does indeed run into Rand in Tear .
