Screen Rant : Congratulations onTransformers : Rise of the Beast . The moving-picture show is unbelievable . The music is fire . Liza , can you talk about your character Arcee and what you wanted to impart to the character in the recording booth that was n’t in reality on the Thomas Nelson Page ?
Liza Koshy : Steven Caple Jr. really did have a vision for Arcee , so I got to give credit where credit is due . That Isle of Man manipulate it up in the kitchen , and then I use up . But I have a great time eating now . you may see , I ’m so excited . I ’m so excited for y' all to see my take on Arcee . We ’ve discover her before inRevenge of the Fallen , but this has so much more backstory to her .
She is strong , she is lively , she is forebode the shots , she ’s father everybody back . Get in line , come on , have ’s go . We ’ve got a charge to accomplish . She ’s just driven and she ’s truehearted and so I ’m really honored to play this character . I keep looking at her in the poster over here . I ’m like , yeah , that ’s me out here . She ’s a force , so I ’m honored to take on her .
Tobe , your eccentric completely cracks me up . How did you near your character and his anti - capitalism stealer mentality ?
Tobe Nwigwe : I come on anti - capitalism a specific manner . The stealer , I had to count on out how to do that because I have n’t been a stealer for so long , but I did use to steal Transformers toys out of the mall . Sorry , Hasbro . Yeah , yeah , yeah , I did . But you could see it ’s all coming full circuit . Now I ’m paying my dues .

Tobe Nwigwe : It was wanton to approach . Not easy to approach it , but it was almost unseamed because I do stand 10 toes down on a fate of the principles that he has and a fortune of the wisdom that he uses , and a lot of honey that he has for his champion and have sex ones and wanting to put them in the adept place that they could possibly be in . That part was pretty seamless .
Liza , what did Steven ’s directing style add toTransformers : acclivity of the brute ? Are you capable to speak to me about working with him as a confederate and his conduct elan ?
Liza Koshy : Steven is just brilliant . This man has so many puzzle piece in his mind and we ca n’t see the big picture until he reels us into it and allows us in on the creative visual sensation . And we have to entrust that he ’s get to put it all together . And we did . And he has . It ’s superb how this buff , this veridical youngster of a fan has become this man that now has the chance to head . I guess this being … It ’s a immense dreaming for him . I know that . He ’s told me , but-
Tobe Nwigwe : Yeah . And it ’s just his intentionality and pore that he has whenever he ’s on band , it ’s unbelievable . It ’s literally unbelievable .
Liza Koshy : He bring you in , he catches you up . And I had the opportunity to see it while the piece were n’t all together just yet . It was buffering a little like you were yourself earlier . And it was cool to see the process . He really allow me in . He ’s such a smart as a whip cooperator .
Transformerswas a huge place in the eighties and had a resurgence in the XC withBeast Wars . Did you guys have any transformer as kids ? I infer now we know , Tobe , you did . And are you going to be adding any transformer after this movie ?
Tobe Nwigwe : Oh , yeah .
Liza Koshy : All of them . I ’ll give you my stuffed one .
Tobe Nwigwe : precisely . I take every single Autobot and Maximal and human fictitious character , come on , in plaything class for my child . Yeah . And for me . But I need it all . We arrest a couple being shipped to the house mightily now because we ca n’t be just going metropolis to city carry plaything like Santa Claus . But we will have hopefully all of them shipped to the house soon .
What storm you the most about working onTransformers : Rise of the Beasts ?
Tobe Nwigwe : I ’ll be fair with you , I thought being on set for this was going to be a little scrap mad , but the masses were so like oblige , cool , reg , the whole molding crew was Hollywood , but not Hollywood . It ’s the uncanny thing . Steven really curated an environment to where it felt like you were amongst family and friends . Everything flowed very , very smooth . Specifically for me , break , yep .
Liza Koshy : Incredible .
Tobe Nwigwe : Come on .
Liza Koshy : I know you . Freaking Ramos and Dominique freaking Fishback , they ’re just ardent mass and made the set a menage too . You know ?
