With Superman bushed , several characters , includingCyborg Superman , John Henry Irons , The Eradicator , and Superboy ( Conner Kent)attempted to pace in for the Heron , with variegate rationales for maltreat up in the wake of Kal - El ’s " decease . " Hank Henshaw nearly succeeded in pretending to be Superman converted but would ultimately be expose for being a villain and be defeated by Superman after he deliver - but not before causing spartan impairment across the DC Universe . Now , Cyborg Superman is back and is taking on Superman ’s son in a fight .

InDark Crisis#2 by Joshua Williamson , Daniel Sampere , Alejandro Sanchez , and Tom Napolitano from DC Comics , Deathstroke ’s approach leaves the Teen Titans in rough shape , as his morose army apparently kills Beast Boy and is about to murder Nightwing . However , before the bullets hit Dick Grayson , Superman arrives on the scene and turn away the shot aside . unluckily , Deathstroke anticipatesSuperman ’s reaching and hollo Cyborg Supermanto fight him , as he directly goes after Jon Kent .
Superman and CyborgSuperman have monumental KO punch in the battle , as Jon Kent grabs Hank Henshaw and send off them both crashing through Titans Tower , destruct the building in the cognitive operation . In the detritus , a damaged Cyborg Superman try out to say the fight is n’t over , but Cyborg arrives and crushes his metal header underneath his feet while delivering the fantastic line , " I ’m sick of you give Cyborgs a defective name . " Cyborg and Nightwing help Jon up to his feet , as Dick tells Superman his dad would be proud of what he did .
While the engagement betweenSuperman and Cyborg Superman did n’t necessarily live upto the plug of some of the baddie ’s classic DC battles against the original Superman , the involvement still showed two mega - powered fictitious character battling to the death . Ultimately , Jon Kent prevailed , as smashing Cyborg Superman enough times finally proved enough to beat him . Kal - El certainly would have been gallant to see his son get the better of the villain in the side of crisis . Hopefully , when he returns from the " dead,“Supermanlearns about theDark Crisisdefeat and how much Jon has stepped up in his absence seizure .
