Both are loving father frightful of how the mankind might pain their high-flown sons . The difference is thatSuperman ’s father in the comicshas a more detailed and relatable office , being less governed by his fear , but hoping to help his Logos ward off the mistakes he made in his naivety .
The Pa Kent ofSuperman : Space Agealso at last encourages his son ’s heroic impulses , but temper them by advising him to see the world and learn about it before endeavor to make unnecessary it , finally direct Clark to become a reporter in more direct mode than in the movieMan of Steel .
