The classic descent story ofSupermaninDC Comicshas been given a much needed update . The character and his origin have been a touchstone of pop music culture since his debut in the 1930s . Although some stories have lucubrate further on his origin , very few have made any fundamental changes to it . InWorld of Krypton#5 , Krypton is being rule under theiron fist of General Zod . Zod has been remorselessly quelling any protest against his rule and has placed Krypton under martial jurisprudence . It also gives Lara a much bigger role in Kal ’s saving , which is a refreshing change to her character ’s chronicle . So , in changing the detailsofSuperman ’s origin write up , World of Kryptongives a hatful more profoundness to his parents ' stories and characters .
