ScreenRant : Were you a sports fan of the originalSuitsbefore you stepped onto theSuits LAset ?

Enrico Colantoni : I was live in Toronto at the sentence , and we were filming Flashpoint . There was a part of me that was like , " Why is everybody babble out about this other show ? WE’RE the show . " Every clock time we would share localisation , they would have their trailer next to ours , so I had this build - in resentment for it .

Aaron [ Korsh ] does n’t know that , and I have a go at it Bonnie Zane , who cast it the whole time . She bring me in a couple of times , and they never in the end hired me . So , no , I was not a devotee of this show . [ Laughs ]

Then I go , " Okay , this feels like anything go , Aaron ’s glad , he ’s laughing , and if he does n’t like it , he can contract it . "

When you feel like it can be ridiculous and airheaded and sucky and baby - ish , it ’s like you may just live it . I could represent myself like that until I die because it ’s a part of me that I do n’t get to play . I do n’t get to be the troublesome actor ; I ’m a venerating guy . I was make for up Catholic , but late down , do I want to go down on s – t up ! Just to see hoi polloi ’s reaction , not out of any maliciousness , but just to see , " Can I get away with that ? " And that ’s who I got to play .

Enrico Colantoni : Well , dynamics tend to be based on how generous the actors are , and they were both just incredibly generous . Bryan [ Greenberg ] and I did that first scene together on sidereal day 1 , and he was just so lovely and patient with me as I bounced off the wall . He ’s playing that kind of straight humans character , so it was lovely .

Josh , on the other hand , was a little more incompatible on screen , but entirely generous off - camera . He create a very smashed safety net to take on and palpate safe . I ’m telling you , if I can work with those two knuckleheads again , I would do it in a second . They were just delightful ; just wonderful in the means they played off of each other . Brian ’s just strain to maintain his cool while Josh is flying off the hold , and it ’s just so awesome and hysteric .
