Warning : plunderer for Task Force Z # 8 are forrader !

Jason Todd , also known asRed Hood , has been a consistent source of tension within the Bat - Family inDC Comicsfor quite some now , but his   discord with the other heroes highlight a bestial truth about their human relationship with Batman . When Jason came back as the vigilante Red Hood , he was an antagonist to the Bat - Family due to his impression that Gotham ’s worst criminals should be kill so they ca n’t continue to offend more innocent people . After   occupying an unsure place in the Bat - Family that let in abrief stint as Nightwing , Jason constitute his footing contribute various Outlaws teams   far from his family ’s influence . But now , in   DC’sInfinite Frontierera , Red Hood has returned back to the Bat - Family , though thing have scarce run smoothly as   theTask Force Zongoing series can attest to .

Task Force Zhas follow Red Hood ’s new squad made up of zombified Batman villains originally killed in the Joker ’s attacks on Arkham Asylum .   spearhead by Two - Face , Task Force Z has been fabulously dysfunctional , as its zombi members are kept alive by a life-threatening substance name the Lazarus Resin . The destiny of Gotham   roost in their hands as they seek to hunt down a former teammate , Mr. Bloom , who partnered with Powers International to   mass - produce the Lazarus Resin . Because of the grisly detail of team ’s job , as well as the hoi polloi on the team itself , Red Hood ’s relationship has been strained with Batman and the relaxation of the Bat - Family , who see his presence on the team as a polarity that Jason is slip back into villainy .

This comes to a head inTask Force Z#8 , where Red Hood is ambushed by Nightwing , Cassandra Cain ’s Batgirl , and Tim Drake ’s Robin after he stole Batman ’s supply of the Lazarus Resin . The rest of the Bat - Family is understandably suspicious , propel Jason to air his foiling about how no one swear him in their kin when they all conform to Batman ’s lead . Because of this , it ’s clear that the Bat - Family ’s weakness is Red Hood , as they ’re ineffectual to desire Jason ’s Word of God because of his problematic past tense . The issue is publish by Matthew Rosenberg , with art by Jesus Merino , Jack Herbert , and Vicente Cifuentes , colors by Adriano Lucas , and letters by Rob Leigh .

As a group head by one of the mostparanoid role in DC Comics , it is not surprising that the Bat - Family has such a unmanageable meter trusting Red Hood . Still , Jason points out that he has consistently been a reliable member recently , telling Nightwing , " Need a spare stage set of hands ? Ask Jason . want someone to have your back ? Jason will . But as soon as you do n’t ask anything it ’s all side - centre , suspiciousness , gossiping , innuendo . ”   It seems then that the Bat - Family ’s trustfulness towards Red Hood is conditional upon his role within   the operation , as he make clear that they ’re more comfortable with calling him in for financial backing rather than encounter him precede a team of his own . Jason Todd ’s stubborn , freethinking nature has always clashed withBatman ’s unattackable demand for control , a cistron that continues to drive a torpedo between him and the rest of his kinsperson .

The Bat - Family is only as strong as their weakest contact , and if they are unable to trust thatRed Hood is doing the correct thing , they will never be able to protect Gotham to the best of their abilities . While it ’s undeniable that Jason has lived up to his report as a loose shank in the yesteryear , he has been determined inInfinite Frontierto flex a new leafage , evident in his decision to give up guns , for illustration . Task Force Z#8 gaveRed Hoodthe luck to present the Bat - Family on their short discourse of him , hopefully inspiring them to change in the hereafter .
