Suicide Squad

SPOILER WARNING forTask Force Z # 7 !

Amidst the monumental catalogue ofDC Comicscharacters , there are quite a few poor boy and villain with frightful figure , and while this phenomenon is often neglect , Red Hoodhas taken it upon himself to admit some of the speechless monikers he can find .

In general , Jason Todd ’s human relationship with villainshas been specially rocky ever since his death at the hands of the Joker . Just after his resurrection , he began hunting down villains using lethal means , much to the disheartenment of the Dark Knight . Though the Red Hood has for the most part accommodate his family relationship with his former mentor , he still hassome gripes about Batman ’s styleof crimefighting . While Batman tends to dish out similar penalty to all of his enemies , no matter how violent their crimes may be , Red Hood has little to no tolerance for criminals hurting others , and is potential to return much harsher beatdowns to those who put inexperienced person in harm ’s way . These belief have painted Jason as an anti - hero , which is fine for him , as he does n’t praise costume adventurer as idols . In fact , he finds some of the the great unwashed who prefer this lifestyle to be absolute jokes , and he ’s not afraid to let them know it .

Task Force Z # 7 , by Matthew Rosenberg , Eddy Barrows , Eber Ferreira , and Adriano Lucas , continues Red Hood ’s adventuresin run a unexampled , undead Suicide Squad . Thanks to a   confection called the Lazarus Resin , the team of corpses is able to remain just alive enough to fill in missions , but regrettably , their provision has been compromise . Luckily , the scientist behind Task Force Z are able to work around this problem by synthesize some of the blood serum from leftover residuum inside the body of the Fishman . As the two scientist explain this cognitive process , Red Hood interrupts them to ask , “ Can we stop forebode him that ? Does n’t he have a name ? ”

manifestly , Red Hood does n’t love the idea of referring to the numb monster as something silly - sounding like the Fishman . Whether this is out of respect for the drained or simply because he thinks the name sounds absurd is undecipherable , but this is n’t the first clock time he ’s call out an horrendous villain name . Recently in Brian Azzarello , Alex Maleev , Matt Hollingsworth , and Jared Fletcher’sSuicide Squad : Get Joker ! # 1 , Red Hood had a like reaction when Amanda Waller introduced him to hisnew Suicide Squad teammate , Pebbles , croak an exasperated , “ Are you jolly me ? ” While amusing , these instance also explore how trade with team like the Suicide Squad can prompt people to see certain villains as the loser they actually are . After all , the member of Task Force X ( and Z ) are only there due to their own failures .

Mirror Master, Red Hood, and Condiment King

Having a character reference like Jason item out goofy villain names is a fun run gag , especially when believe his history with crook . He does , however , have a moment of competition as Dennis Hopeless , Jesús Merino , Eduardo Pansica , Júlio Ferreira , Matt Herms , Marcelo Maiolo , and Wes Abbott’sSuicide Squad # 15shows Lex Luthortaking a crack at Mirror Master ’s name , call into question why he would choose a recording label that completely undercuts his vast powerfulness level . Again this exemplifies how others lean to consider the Suicide Squad as a group of bums , although Lex tend to see most people that way .

Even with a bit of rivalry from Superman ’s curse , there areplenty of villain names for Jason Toddto mock . Batman villains in fussy offer up some stark prey for the anti - hero ’s snide remarks , including the likes of Crazy Quilt and the Condiment King . No matter whichDCvillain fall next , it ’s clear that theRed Hoodis excellent at calling out ridiculous names and he should continue to do so in the future .
