Oddly enough , Dick Grayson and Professor Pyg share many traits in common . Like Dick , Pyg claimed to have been created by an emotionally remote parent . He leads a crew call in the Circus of Strange , mirroring Dick ’s yesteryear with Haly ’s Circus . However , the similarity between the two run deeper than just their past tense . Pyg was a villain that thrive on shift , famously kidnapping people and turning them into Dollotrons that obeyed his will . At the same metre , Dick was mentoring Damian Wayne as Robin , work his morals and trust to distance him from his League of Assassins education .

Eventually , Bruce came back from the dead , and Dick return to being Nightwing . Unfortunately , due to the villain ’s institution during Dick ’s time as Batman , Pyg has become just another member of Bruce ’s rogues gallery . However , Professor Pyg has the potential to beNightwing ’s genuine curse , because he provides a dismal counter to Dick ’s most popular prospect . In comparison to Bruce ’s Batman , Nightwing is know for being a gentler , more approachable vigilance man , whose tractable personality and good looks make him staring in the centre of many . In contrast , Pyg doles out gruesome wildness as he seeks to achieve " perfection " by mutilating the face of innocent mass .
Although he still retains his twisted nature , Professor Pyg does not have the same stress with Bruce that he had with Dick ’s Batman . Nighting may be Batman ’s adequate , but this does not intend their villains are interchangeable . Bruce ’s counterpart is the Joker , and when match with Bruce ’s Batman , Pyg loses his terrorize law of similarity to the Cuban sandwich and instead seems like an try at creating a replacement Joker .
