Throughout the series , Hush proved to be a homicidal vigilante who is killing all of Batman ’s former villains , not unlike Jason Todd ’s Red Hood when he first hit the scenery . InBatman Beyond , Nightwing was mangle by the Joker and then had a variant of himself rise to antiheroism , just as Jason Todd , another former Robin , who was murder by the Joker only to be brought back and become a murderous vigilance man . The difference between those two tragedies , however , is the real reason why Dick get to sincerely detest Bruce Wayne .
Whenthe Joker attack Jason Todd , he killed him , and Batman was there to see with his own optic the extent of his death . While saddened , Batman finally run on just as anyone else would , making the Red Hood ’s gall of him a bit harsh . InBatman Beyond , however , Dick Grayson pull through the onslaught , but he did n’t receive any documentation from Batman in the slightest . The only thing Dick got from Bruce was a note saying that when he was ready to get back out there again , to give him a call . Not only was Batman basically whole responsible for for Dick ’s situation , but he then treated him as though their relationship entail nothing . While Dick ’s injuries were across-the-board as a result of the Joker ’s blast , Nightwing’slast missionary post withBatmanabsolutely part him , not because of the hummer wound , but because of the abandonment he find from Bruce at a time when he require him the most .
