Yes , Palpatine was fantastically dangerous . He was both a Sith Lord and the most powerful mortal in the Senate . Perhaps Palpatine even objectively deserved to go . However , the Jedi way is absolved ; Jedi are not say to attack ( much less kill ) unarmed opponents .
Mace Windu ’s decision did not come from angriness or even fear .
Nevertheless , Mace Windu ’s actions did not reflect a full round toward the non-white side . For one , in the terminal , Mace Windu did not kill Palpatine .
