At this point in comics , the mainstream Darkseid and Superman have plenty of history . When the two face off they can draw upon that history to imprint a grudge . But the mech version of Superman has a grievance against Darkseid right from the very source . Instead of desire to protect Earth for the sake of saving his take in home world , this variation of Superman want to take on Darkseid so as to retaliate his original home worldly concern of Krypton . He grow up on the major planet and was an adult when he get to Earth , so his bad blood and personal relationship with Darkseid is so much stronger . This version ofSupermanandDarkseidhaven’t face off yet , but given what ’s transpired thus far , it ’s fated to be a battle fill up with dramatic play and rage .
