As such , it ’s not a surprise that Murdock let the officer to nonplus him up partially as a form of penance , as these feelings of dubiousness and conflict have persisted even though he ’s put the hood and costume off for the time being .
Charlie Cox ’s Daredevil also briefly retired from the fighter mantle after the end ofDaredevilseason 2 , coming back out of this retirement with the events ofThe Defendersand thenDaredevilseason 3 .
Historically , Matt has often found what his best path forwards is by talk to Foggy and Karen about what to do next , even before they were fully aware he was a vigilante .
