Black Adam first appears inThe Marvel Family # 1when he returns to Earth from his exile in space to take over the planet . Captain Marvel Jr. sees this and retaliates against Adam , and the two engage in fight . Captain Marvel ( Shazam ) mark his friend in a fight , and steps in to help . Preparing a lick , he articulate , " If he outlast this , he ’s really just ! " Adam apparently takes the collision , to which Marvel proclaim , " Holy moley ! He did survive ! " The heroes eventually beatBlack Adam by play a trick on him into saying"Shazam!“and he reverts back to his mortal form , which is so old that he withers away into nothing , right on the spot .
Although zany and whimsical like most comics at the clip , the fact that Black Adam collapses and dies in front of a mathematical group of young heroes is truly bleak . It bring forth darker when one realizes that Captain Marvel was unforced to put his all into killing a stranger , never even trying to quiet down the situation . Black Adam was there with malefic intentions , butShazam resolution to kill himbased entirely on the fact he ’s crusade Captain Marvel Jr.
Black Adam and Shazam have come a retentive way and made many change since their Clarence Day as Fawcett characters . Shazam now chooses to subdue his opponents rather than in a flash down them , andBlack Adam is something of a misunderstood antihero . However , in their very first battle , Shazamwas atrociously eager to killBlack Adam , and his family ultimately succeeded in doing so , reverting him to an onetime man who fade away in front of them .
