This was prompt by a newfound desire from Ra ’s to leave the populace in a good place for his grandson Damian combined with the power of the Lazarus Pits no longer working for the drawing card of the League of Assassins . Deathstroke was believed to have been the perpetrator , kickstarting a state of war between Slade Wilson ’s army of supervillains and the League led by a vengeful Talia , girl of Ra ’s and Damian ’s mother . Wanting to avenge his grandfather ’s death as well , the perverse Robin made it his commission to defeat Slade with his alienated father Batman stress to intercept .

While Batman and Robin may be back in action , it should be noted that that does n’t mean the father and boy ’s relationship is amply remedy .
