I get this electronic mail , it ’s like to the whole casting , ' Hey Katie , Marc [ Guggenheim ] and Wendy [ Mericle ] would jazz to sit down and have dejeuner with you , we ’re gon na match with the whole cast just to do a little catch up on what ’s go to be for the next few season .
For whatever rationality , my belly just dropped . I immediately text Marc Guggenheim , who I adore , ' I ’m fired , are n’t I ? ' I was like , ' Marc , I have a sick feeling in my stomach , please do n’t make me hold off the weekend . Please , can we get on a call tomorrow ? ' He sound out , ' Wow , you ’re really intuitive . I ’ll call you tomorrow . ' Marc articulate , ' Listen , unfortunately , I have to tell apart you you ’re the one that ’s in the tomb . '
I was angry at first , and I was emotional , because I was sad . I think it was a couple of thing - I have theories , I believe it was political , it ’s a fate . no matter , this was my only ire moment , I just have to say I feel like I ’ve always been given the short end of the reefer and I have to go . I did n’t yell . I just cried because I was distressing . Stephen [ Amell ] call me immediately and was like , ' I ’m so sorry it ’s you , I do n’t want it to be you . ' I play really hard on that show and that character , and I sleep with it .
I did get a call after Flash aired , from Marc , that order , ' Would you come back as a serial unconstipated ? I think we may have made a mistake . ' And then I was back and best than ever and happy . Quite frankly , them defeat me off took every other series veritable and sends these other characters spiral in different focusing and reacting . It ’s storytelling and I do n’t take it personally . I guess they did a great Book of Job in writing for me , quite frankly , and I got a band to play with . So for that I ’m grateful .
